ii – The History of Print Journalism – From Written to Printed Media
p.29 – On May thirty, 1631, the first edition of the Paris Gazette was published past Théophraste Baudot, a vivid doctor who had studied medicine at Montpelier and later returning to his native London met Armand de Richelieu and through him obtained sectional rights to "print, sell, and distribute newspapers within the kingdom" (Pettegree 2014: 201). p.32 – The English language word "magazine" is derived from an Arabic term makazin, a storehouse, and by the 1600s had been adopted by the English to depict a warehouse for war machine shell and ammunition. 3 – A New Profession: The Journalist

Enjoyed greatly the historical (and beginning) part of the book, but plant the second half focusing on modernistic times likewise random. In the section virtually mode criticism the authors migrate off topic.
